Reliving moments of my childhood and seeing things brought up total nostalgia! From the music to the old school Tomogachi, it you weren't there in the 90s you would understand. The staff were totally cool and nice. We walked in playing old school Double Dare and that set the tone making you wanna see what's behind the curtain read less

There are some cute backdrops and pieces of memorabilia that will take you BACK! I went with my friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it all.
The only issue I had, as someone that traveled from Sacramento, was the fact that there was no restroom. That was a little buzzkill, but just pee before you go & you're GOLDEN. read less

My fiancé and I booked tickets online, 2 days in advance, for this past Saturday afternoon. It was extremely easy to find this spot within Jack London Square and all of the staff were extremely nice and helpful! Arrive at the time you booked (done so to avoid over-crowding) and you can stay inside as long as you'd like. We felt quite safe as we saw staff disinfecting every now and then - just be cautious of touching things if you see a group just do so in front of you.
I'd recommend giving staff your ID in exchange for loaning a tripod during your visit. I wish they had markers on the floor to let you know where you should place the tripod, and to stand/pose, for the best pictures/angles/lighting. I did enjoy that everything was on one level, but the amount of exhibits was a bit sparse. It took us about 30-45 minutes to walk through and snap all the pictures that we wanted to. We wished that they had more interactive displays, staff, and history to read so we could spend more time in there. At $25 for general admission, the price tag isn't unreasonable when comparing to other pop ups such as MOIC and Color Factory. Having photo kiosks at each display would've been excellent as well!
We found metered parking about 2 blocks from Jack London Square, though were a bit skeptical about the sketchy surroundings. I'd recommend splurging to park in one of the lots for peace of mind - we would've done so, but the lots didn't have capacity when we visited. All in all, I'd recommend checking out this spot before it's gone! read less

During the pandemic, we felt safe and reassured coming to this location. They allow a only a certain amount of individuals at a time. Throughout our time, we've seen staff disinfect various set-ups, which made us feel comfortable. Mask mandates in place (with allowance of taking them off when taking photos). It's a great set up for those who wish to up their social media photos. Unlike other experiences, this is all on one floor with ease of access to each set. This actually is less stressful! We had a lot of fun and highly recommend this experience for all. read less
